Още когато първоначално научихме, че нашите приятели от X-Events ще правят летен фото-конкурс на екстремна/приключенска тематика си заплюхме да не го пропускаме! Събитие, съчетаващо спорт и изкуство, с ясно изразен акцент върху културно-социалния аспект на нещата – о да, там сме! И бяхме… При това не само като наблюдатели, но и със скромен представител в 5-членното жури, оценяващо снимките. Ето как изглеждаше мероприятието през фишая на истината, окото на BIKEPORN, обективът, чието главно предназначение е да ви залива с криви снимки от всякакъв род: 
Добре дошли в Bike Park Sofia – след неколкократни промени в мястото и датата за събитието, дъртовете и пъмп трака до Колодрума в Борисовата приютиха събитието на свой терен. Понеделник е меко казано нестандартен ден за такива прояви, но какво по-хубаво начало на седмицата от едно интересно събитие? 
След 6 часа вечерта започват да прииждат сериозно количество хора, и паркът бързо отеснява. Организацията не върви идеално гладко и в този момент още тече подготовка за фото конкурса, но карачите са напълно готови да започнат предвиденото дърт джъмп състезание по най-добър трик. 
Участниците не са много и за съжаление няма представители на BMX сцената, но впредвид известното закъснение, с което започва карането, това може би е за добре. Съвсем скоро ще падне мрак и момчетата имат критично малко време да покажат най-доброто от себе си – даден им е половин час, състезанието протича в отворен формат с неограничен брой рънове. 
За наше голямо облекчение, никой не приема нещата твърде насериозно и момчетата преди всичко гледат да забавляват себе си, както и публиката, с изпълнения като тази масовка тип влакче на голямата линия. 
Въпреки, че карането е предимно за кеф, сред момчетата има и такива, готови да покажат силни като за българските стандарти трикове. Единственият човек, каращ с ерекция, Крисо е безспорен фаворит сред присъстващите – никой не се изненадва, когато той отнася титлата със супер стилно 360. 
30-те минути на състезанието изтичат тъкмо навреме – наоколо се стъмва със всяка минута и към края на даденото време момчетата карат почти на тъмно. Монката от X-Events и Цуцо от RAM приканват райдърите да се ориентират към приключване. 
След броени минути преминаваме към следващия етап от програмата – настъпва време за същинската част от фото конкурса. Снимките са изложени, техниката е навързана, и е време членовете на журито да разгледат обстойно снимките на финалистите. 
Пред стената с кадрите се нареждат познати физиономии, на снимката – Любо от MTB-BG и Сандо от Cleckshop се взират в принтовете и си дават вид, че разбират от тези работи. Това е тайната, момчета, справяме се чудесно! 
През това време посетителите вече са сложили масите и пият втора ракия… Не се заблуждавайте от бутилката, тя е за камуфлаж! 
И нека оценяването да започне СЕГА! От ляво на дясно, Крис Драгошинов, Sandomax, искрено вашият Юксел Кадриев, Любо от MTB-BG в сянка, и един доста счупен DJ Emil Prize. Контузиите и бекграунда нямат значение, оценяването върви по план – всички присъстващи имат око за добрия екшън, независимо дали идват от skate, snow, bike или клубна среда. Липсва ни единствено Светльо, виден представител на BMX обществото, който пропуска съдийстването – разболял се бил, моля ти се… Доста ученическо оправдание.

Крис и Сандо сумират оценки – проста аритметика, но когато зад гърба ти десетки присъстващи чакат да чуят кой ще вземе наградите напрежението се усеща… Дали от този факт, или заради това, че двамата веротно са наблягали повече на скейта, от колкото на уроците по математика, половината суми са сбъркани. 
С Любо правим проверка и коригираме сбърканото, оправданието на Криската и Сандо – абе момчета, от цялата маса вие точно на двамата скейтъри дадохте да смятат оценки, какво очаквате… 
След кратка суматоха, в която се оказва, че и в двете категории има по трима човека с еднакъв брой точки, преминаваме към гласуване с аплодисменти от публиката. В категория Shoot Me With Your Trick трети по шум от публиката се класира BMX кадъра на Иван Масларов – Нинджата. Той отсъства, за това връчваме наградата му на Батко Рой със заръката да я пази както би си пазил дупенцето в Анадола… 
Втори по шум се нарежда кадъра на Мартин Раднев – маунтинбайк снимка с много хвърчащи листа и Тошко от отборa на Kona/Etnies. Марто получава наградата си (а може би и още нещо…?) с Тайното Ръкостискане от Крис. Евала Марто! 
Нумеро уно; снимката, обрала най-много овации, е кадър на Васил Митев. Той също отсъства, за това Любо връчва наградата на човека от печелившия кадър – Мартин Марков. Much respect и за двамата! 
В категорията It’s all about summer спечелиха две снимки с мацки и една с куче. Наградата за трето място отиде при Иван Хаджиянчев – може би, защото в снимката все пак присъстваше и мъж, макар и задочно. 
Второто място отиде за Здравка Будинова със снимка на приятно гъвкава девойка в полет. Тук журито се опита да подкупи Орнела от X-Events, която сменяше кадрите, да задържи снимката на екран възможно по-дълго време… 
Победител, естествено, стана снимката с кучето… Как иначе – песа е страшен пич! Честото на авторката Снежана Онова!My Summer Photo Affair показа няколко неща – първо, не е чак толкова трудно да се направи читав фото-конкурс на екстремна и приключенска тематика в България. Въпреки леките бъгове в организацията, сме напълно уверени, че такива събития имат бъдеще и могат да се превърнат в далеч по-редовно явление.
